Nothing says fall within the backyard greater than the sight of decorative grasses pluming. It goes proper together with all different issues that sign the season change—the youngsters going again to high school, pumpkin spice all the things, and turning the warmth on for the primary time. Gardeners appear to have a love/hate relationship with decorative grasses. They’ve nice texture, they offer life to the late-season panorama, and plenty of are native to North America. However some unfold like noxious weeds, turn out to be invasive, or are upkeep nightmares that want frequent division. On this episode we talk about a few of our favorites from this class of vegetation—grasses which are gorgeous in three seasons (if not 4) and don’t require a plethora of care to look their finest. We even discuss a couple of beginner grasses that you just won’t have heard of earlier than!
