400 of the artists’ tile designs had been made in Guadalajara, Mexico, by Cerámica Suro artisans, which had been displayed in an arched set up at Design Miami throughout Miami Artwork Week 2022. Every day of the honest, the set up showcased a brand new artist’s tile designs.

“Fools Gold, is a sequence of aspect lamps that juxtaposes the rigidity and power of solid bronze with the looseness and sketch-like high quality of varieties that are not usually related to the fabric in query,” mentioned Suro. “Up is Down is a sequence of subtly playful aspect tables seamlessly integrating fused glass and glazed ceramic that explores the small-scale productive potential of Guadalajara.”
