The Washington Put up has launched a collection of visualizations depicting the depth of drought circumstances in Western states. The graphics present how far water ranges in reservoirs throughout the area have fallen in comparison with every reservoir’s complete capability. For instance, one of many graphics reveals that the water degree in Lake Shasta, California’s largest reservoir, has fallen to 37 p.c of the lake’s full capability.
