What is that this a part of a tower referred to as? : structure

It’s a classical factor in structure referred to as a “corbel”. These appear a bit outsized, however mainly they’re components that help some sort of cantilever above, particularly whether it is traditional masonry of some variety. They are often fabricated from minimize stone, and even brick. The intent is to help some sort of overhanging flooring or different factor. Resembling a battlement in a fort, or parapet.
